Where does the list come from?
The IRS exempt organizations file (NTEE A6B) for every registered group that still files, at its filing address, plus groups in Overture Maps open data that have no IRS record of their own. A group in both is one row.
Does it name people?
No. Officer names and other personal fields in the IRS file are left out. Emails are kept only when they are an organization mailbox.
Can I buy every arts and entertainment list at once?
Yes. The US Arts & Entertainment Venues file holds all 25 lists, one row per place, 134,794 places. It costs the 25 lists added up, less 10%.
