LocationLists Data License

One license covers every dataset we sell. Buy it once, use it inside your business forever — just don't resell the raw file.

The grant, in one sentence

On purchase, LocationLists grants the purchasing organization a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the dataset for any internal commercial purpose, including the creation of derived works — excluding redistribution or resale of the raw records themselves.

What you may do

  • ✓Internal analysis, mapping, territory planning, and site selection
  • ✓Loading records into your own CRM, database, BI tool, or GIS
  • ✓Building internal reports, dashboards, and models on top of the records
  • ✓Sharing insights, aggregates, maps, and counts derived from the data with your clients or in published material
  • ✓Use by any employee or contractor of the purchasing organization

What you may not do

  • ×Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the raw dataset — in whole or in substantial part
  • ×Publishing the full record set on a public website, repository, or file share
  • ×Using the dataset as the underlying data feed for a product that competes with LocationLists
  • ×Transferring the license to another organization (including after an acquisition) without written consent
  • ×Bulk resale of the records as a standalone list or lead file

Attribution

Attribution is not required for internal use. If you publish figures, maps, or counts derived from a dataset, we ask that you cite it as Source: LocationLists with a link to the dataset page. That is a request, not a condition of the license.

Sources, trademarks, and affiliation

Every dataset is compiled from publicly available store and dealer locator systems operated by the brands themselves. The records are factual business-location information — names, addresses, phone numbers, and coordinates. Brand names and logos are the trademarks of their respective owners. LocationLists is an independent location intelligence company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand whose locations appear in our catalog. Our license covers the compilation we deliver; it does not grant you any rights in a third party's trademarks.

Accuracy, refresh, and refunds

Datasets are refreshed weekly from source. We work hard on completeness and accuracy, but the data is provided “as is” without warranty — locations open, close, and move, and source systems are not always current. If you find significant quality problems, email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the dataset.

Need broader rights?

Redistribution, OEM, embedding in a commercial product, or agency use across multiple client organizations all require a separate agreement. We write those regularly and they are not expensive — get in touch and tell us what you want to build.
