Tesla sells direct, with no franchised dealers, so its retail footprint is small, deliberate and completely different in shape from every other car brand: 223 company-operated sites across North America covering stores, service centers, delivery hubs and galleries, many of them combining two or three of those functions at one address. Each record carries the address, phone, coordinates and separate boolean flags for store, service and delivery, so you can isolate the service network — the part that matters for parts, equipment, tooling and collision-repair suppliers — from the showrooms. This is Tesla's own location directory, refreshed weekly, so new site openings appear as Tesla publishes them. Note that Tesla's charging network is sold separately as its own dataset rather than mixed in here, because it is a different business with a different buyer.

?Frequently Asked Questions
Why are there only 223 Tesla locations when other brands have thousands?
Tesla has no franchised dealers. Every site is company-operated, and the company covers the country with far fewer, larger sites plus mobile service, so a network of a couple of hundred is the whole retail footprint rather than a partial list. For comparison, Chevrolet's franchised network in our catalog is 2,858 rooftops.
Does this include Superchargers?
No, deliberately. Tesla's directory mixes retail and charging, and roughly 96% of it is charging infrastructure, so a combined file buries the 223 retail sites. Superchargers and destination chargers are a separate dataset, Tesla Supercharger & Destination Charger Locations.
Can I tell service centers apart from showrooms?
Yes. The locationType column and the isStore, isService and isDelivery flags come straight from Tesla, and many sites carry more than one, for example store plus service plus delivery at a single address. Filtering on isService gives the service network on its own.
