Komatsu Distributor
U.S. Location Dataset // 405

Komatsu is the world's second-largest construction and mining equipment manufacturer, and in North America it sells through distributors rather than dealers. This dataset covers all 405 Komatsu network locations in the United States, tagged by what each one actually is: 352 authorized distributor locations plus 53 Komatsu-operated facilities — corporate offices, manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, service sites and training centers. The locationTypes column keeps those separate, so if you only want the sales-and-service distributor network you can filter to it in one step, and if you are mapping Komatsu's own industrial footprint that is here too. Distributors are substantial regional businesses such as Tractor & Equipment Company, Power Motive and The Lilly Company, most running several branches. Records include a productLines column where Komatsu publishes it. Buyers include aftermarket parts suppliers, mining and construction contractors mapping service access, and competitive analysts comparing Komatsu's footprint with Caterpillar's. Sourced from Komatsu's official locator.

?Frequently Asked Questions

Are all 405 records dealers?

No, and the dataset is explicit about it. 352 are authorized distributor locations — the sales and service network. The other 53 are Komatsu's own facilities: 15 service sites, 15 warehouses, 14 corporate offices, 11 manufacturing plants, 3 distribution centers and 2 training centers. The locationTypes column tags every row, so filtering to just the distributor network takes one step. We include the Komatsu-operated sites because they are genuinely useful for logistics and supply-chain analysis, but we do not count them as dealers.

Why does Komatsu say 'distributor' rather than 'dealer'?

It is Komatsu's own terminology for its North American channel partners. Functionally they are the equivalent of Caterpillar's dealers — independent regional businesses with territories, running multiple branches and handling sales, parts and service.

Does this include Canada?

No, this dataset is the United States only. Komatsu's locator is queried country by country, and we publish US coverage here rather than mixing in partial Canadian results. If you need Komatsu Canada, ask us and we will run it.

We supply parts for mining and construction equipment. How should we use this?

Filter to the 352 distributor locations for sales outreach, and use the warehouse and distribution-center rows separately if you are planning logistics. Most parts suppliers pair this with our Caterpillar, Bobcat, Volvo CE, Case CE and John Deere datasets to cover the whole authorized heavy equipment network — ask about the multi-brand bundle and we will deduplicate dealer groups that carry more than one line.

How often is the Komatsu list updated?

Weekly, from Komatsu's official locator.
