The count is higher than the branch figure in Herc's 10-K because the locator lists co-located specialty storefronts separately: a single yard can appear as a general rental branch, a ProSolutions (power, climate, pumps) branch and a ProTruck branch at the same address, and each carries its own branch number and phone. The specialtyServices column tells you which lines a location runs — general rentals, ProSolutions, ProTruck, trench solutions, aerial, earthmoving, floor care, material handling, storage containers and more — so you can build a map of where Herc competes in a specific category, not just where it has a sign. Because the locator lists specialty storefronts separately even when they share a yard. 796 rows resolve to 625 distinct street addresses. If you want physical yards, dedupe on address; if you want to know which specialty lines are offered where, keep every row — that is the point of the specialtyServices column.
Does this include the former H&E Equipment Services branches?
Yes. H&E was folded into Herc's network after the June 2025 acquisition and its branches appear in Herc's locator under Herc branch numbers.
