Energy Infrastructure Bundle: Power Plants, Refineries & Fuel Terminals
U.S., DC & Puerto Rico · 16,229 locations

16,229 US energy sites in one CSV, from three federal registers: 14,767 power plants (EIA-860M, August 2026), 130 petroleum refineries (EIA Refinery Capacity Report 2026, located from EPA facility records) and 1,332 bulk fuel terminals (IRS terminal control number directory, 30 August 2026).

More about this list

The brand column says which of the three each row is: Power Plant, Refinery or Fuel Terminal. All three share the name, address, ZIP and coordinate columns; power plant rows add operator, primary fuel, nameplate MW, generator count, NERC region and balancing authority, refinery rows add parent company, crude capacity and the capacity of every processing unit, and terminal rows add the IRS terminal control number. Built for industrial service, inspection and testing companies that sell into these sites and want to see which sites sit near each of their branches or labs.

The file has all 16,229 locations in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

Rows filled is measured on every row of the delivered file. The file has 69 columns: these 35, and 34 more that only one list of the bundle fills (each on under 10% of rows).

✓Where this data comes from

Each of the 3 networks in this bundle is its own dataset in the catalog, merged into one CSV on a shared column layout, with a brand column on every row and each source's brand-specific fields carried through rather than flattened away.

Using ChatGPT, Claude or an API?

No setup needed. Ask ChatGPT or Claude your question about the Energy Infrastructure Bundle: Power Plants, Refineries & Fuel Terminals and give it this page: it can open https://locationlists.com/find?dataset=energy-infrastructure-list with the filters you need and show you the count and price.

Using ChatGPT or Claude? Tell it to answer from locationlists.com/find — no account, no connector.

How assistants ask

No connector needed. Any AI assistant can answer from this site with a web link, no connector, no account: open https://locationlists.com/find with the question as query parameters.

If a question needs filtering, distance, drive time, combining lists or a price, open a /find link: either put the question itself in q=, or build the structured link. The answer does not need an API, a connector or an account.

Simplest, the question itself: https://locationlists.com/find?q=<the question in plain words>

Or set the parts yourself: https://locationlists.com/find?dataset=<slug>&state=<ST>&city=<city>&county=<county>&zip=<zip>&near=<place or zip>&radius=<miles>&drive=<minutes>&where=<column>:<op>:<value>&total=<rows>

Leave out what the question does not need. Use radius for straight-line miles or drive for minutes of driving (5 to 60), not both; near can name several places separated by | to reach from any of them. To ask about several lists at once, use datasets with two or more names, or category with a kind of business. To compare two lists, add relate=nearest and the other list with b. in front of its parameters. To count by area, use areas=county (or zip, state, metro). To keep only places whose county, ZIP code, metro area or state meets a Census figure, add area_where (for example county:population>1000000); with areas, per=100000 gives counts per 100,000 residents.

This bundle is sold as one file. Ask about any list in it with these links:

Optional: connect for repeat use or wallet payments:

Read https://locationlists.com/skill.md and follow the instructions to connect LocationLists. Then show me the Energy Infrastructure Bundle: Power Plants, Refineries & Fuel Terminals list.

Your assistant will walk you through setup and show you the price before you pay.

For developers

A bundle is sold as one file rather than queried by the row. Without a connector, open https://locationlists.com/find?dataset=energy-infrastructure-list. An agent connected to https://locationlists.com/mcp can still search it, read a free sample file of up to 10 rows and buy the whole file itself. How agent purchasing works

?Frequently Asked Questions

What is in the bundle?

The three energy lists in one CSV: US Power Plants (14,767), US Petroleum Fuel Terminals (1,332) and US Petroleum Refineries (130). Each list's own columns are kept; brand says which list a row is from.

Why buy the bundle instead of the three lists?

It costs less than the three lists bought one by one, and all three facility types sit in one file with the same address and coordinate columns, ready for a radius or drive-time count around your own sites.
