All 14,667 licensed electrical contracting firms in Texas, from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation's daily extract, every one with a business street address, phone, county, license number and expiry date. This covers both the electrical contractor and electrical sign contractor licenses — the firms legally allowed to pull an electrical permit in the state, as distinct from the roughly 20,000 individually licensed master electricians who work for them. Texas is the largest electrical market in the country outside California, and this is the complete licensed universe rather than the subset that joined an association or bought directory advertising. Distributors, manufacturers building rep territories, solar and EV-charging installers looking for subcontractors, staffing firms and private-equity groups rolling up electrical services all work from a list like this.
All 14,667 records, as published — the complete set rather than a sample. That matters most for coverage and gap questions: put together the same list from partial searches and every location you miss reads as a gap that is not there, so the answer is wrong rather than merely late. Assembling the U.S.-wide coverage by hand also means one query per area against sources that cap what they return per search.

?Frequently Asked Questions
Is this firms or individual electricians?
Firms. Texas licenses contracting businesses separately from individual master and journeyman electricians, and this file is the business licenses, each with the company's own address and phone. The individual licenses are a different and much larger file with no business addresses.
How current is it?
The state regenerates its extract daily and we refresh weekly, so a newly licensed contractor appears within days and an expired license drops out. Each row also carries its expiry date, so you can target renewals or filter to licenses with plenty of runway.
Do you have other Texas trades?
Yes: tow operators and vehicle storage, water well drillers, auto parts recyclers and salon establishments, all from the same state source. Texas HVAC is the one exception — the state publishes no addresses at all for those licenses, so we do not sell it as a location dataset.
