RCI and Interval are the two exchange networks timeshare owners trade weeks through, and nearly every timeshare resort in North America is affiliated with one or both: their combined US and Canadian directory holds 1,668 resorts, and 690 of them are a resort of Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, Bluegreen, Wyndham, Holiday Inn Club, Westgate, Disney, Vacation Village, Capital Vacations or another big brand. Florida has 199, California 66, Colorado 58, South Carolina 53 and British Columbia 31. 461 are with RCI only, 197 with Interval only and 320 with both; rciCode and intervalCode hold their resort codes. Every field both listings publish is kept: RCI's ratings, check-in days, unit types, amenities, recreation and fees, and Interval's quality designation (Select, Premier or Elite), unit types and ratings.

Many independents are run for their owners' association by a management company, which managementCompany names where the listing does.
Does it include resorts that only rent hotel rooms through RCI?
No. RCI also lists hotel rooms and rentals it sells as getaways; those are left out, as are Interval's getaway-only listings. Only resorts affiliated for exchange are kept.
How do I keep only single-site resorts?
Keep the rows where locationsWithSameName is 1: 974 resorts. A shared name is not always one owner.
