5,775 rows from USA Swimming's Find a Team map cover 2,809 clubs and Learn-to-Swim providers. One row is one club at one pool. clubFacilityCount says how many pools a club uses. Each row has the club's USA Swimming id and its size in registered members. 735 clubs hold a Club Excellence tier (Gold 95, Silver 331, Bronze 309). 5,775 rows have a phone number, 2,203 an email address and 5,509 a website. We read each place's own website once for the sports it offers, its programs, the ages it serves and its size. 52 rows state a size: fields, courts, sheets of ice, acres, square feet or seats. level says youth, adult or both on 5,775 rows. levelBasis says how we know. ownership is filled on 2,446 rows. ownershipBasis says where it came from. Largest states: California 621, Texas 425, New York 364, Florida 286.

The file has all 5,775 locations across 51 states in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

Unified 93 city spellings, corrected 4 misspelled city names, standardised 4 state codes, fixed 1 doubled addresses, restored 7 ZIP codes, added coordinates to 105 listings, added the county to 5,775 listings, re-placed 5 misplaced map points, flagged 264 incomplete addresses and measured 5,775 rows. Rebuilt October 15, 2026 from usaswimming.org.

### Where does the list come from?

USA Swimming's own Find a Team map. It lists every member club and Learn-to-Swim provider with each pool it trains at. We then read each place's own website, where it has one. We keep no person data. There are no coach or contact names, and emails are club or facility mailboxes only.

### Which rows are youth programs?

level says youth, adult or youth and adult on 5,775 of 5,775 rows (youth 5,674, youth and adult 101). levelBasis says how we know. It is a published age range, the governing body, the name or the website. A blank means nothing we read says.

### Does it show who owns the place?

ownership is filled on 2,446 rows (school 1,258, nonprofit 644, college or university 368, public (government) 161). It comes from the source's own flag or facility type, the website domain (.gov, .k12, .edu) or the name. A blank means nothing we read says. It does not mean the place is private.

### Can I buy every youth sports list at once?

Yes. US Youth Sports Clubs & Facilities has all eleven youth sports lists, the YMCA list and the Dance Studios & Schools list in one file, one row per place: 183,769 places for $559. That is the thirteen list prices added up, less 10%.

### How is this data cleaned?

Every rebuild runs the same steps and counts what each one changed. For the current file, rebuilt October 15, 2026 from usaswimming.org: Merged 0 duplicate listings that had the same business name, street address and ZIP code, keeping every filled-in detail from both (October 15, 2026). Unified 93 city names written more than one way within the same ZIP code (for example with and without a space or an abbreviation) to the US Census Bureau spelling (October 15, 2026). Corrected 4 misspelled city names to the US Census Bureau place name for their ZIP code (October 15, 2026). Set the state on 4 listings to its two-letter US Postal Service code, matched to the US Census Bureau state register (or, for Canadian rows, the ISO province code) (October 15, 2026). Removed the second copy of 1 street addresses that were typed twice in the same field (October 15, 2026). Restored the leading zero on 7 ZIP codes that had lost it (October 15, 2026). Added map coordinates to 105 listings that had none, from the US Census Bureau address geocoder or, where the street address could not be matched, the centre of the ZIP code (October 15, 2026). Set the county and its federal county code on 5,775 listings, matched to the US Census Bureau county list from the county the source records, the listing's map point, or its ZIP code area (October 15, 2026). Checked every map point against the state in its address and re-placed 5 points that fell outside that state (October 15, 2026). Flagged 264 addresses that are incomplete, a PO box, or missing a house number, in an address quality column (October 15, 2026). Checked that the row count, state count and field completeness published for this file were measured from the file itself (October 15, 2026).
