1,408 True Value hardware stores in the US and Puerto Rico. True Value has been owned by Do it Best since 2024, and truevalue.com's store finder now runs on Do it Best's system. 1,408 rows are the stores that finder lists, each with its finder id and store page. The other 115 are stores that still trade under the True Value name but that the finder does not link; the inTrueValueFinder column marks them no, so one filter gives the finder's list exactly. Each row has the store name, street address, city, state and GPS coordinates, more than 99% have a phone number and True Value's store number, and 1,408 stores have an email address. 34 of the stores are in Puerto Rico. Some True Value stores also carry the Do it Best banner: those are in both lists, and the Hardware Store Industry Bundle names them in its brandsAtLocation column.

### Why is this smaller than older True Value store counts?

True Value's older store system listed every business that bought from True Value wholesale: garden centers, industrial suppliers, rental stores, Ace stores and overseas distributors as well as True Value hardware stores. This file holds only stores that trade as True Value today.
