55,071 stores that carry Vita Coco coconut water, read every week from Vita Coco's own store locator: the retail stores (7-Eleven, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Family Dollar...) that the locator lists as stocking the brand, in all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico. 7-Eleven has 8,108 of them, Walgreens 7,126, CVS 6,437, Walmart Supercenter 4,353 and Family Dollar 3,374; California has 6,882, Texas 5,317 and Florida 4,587. Each row gives the retailer, address and coordinates, and for 47,315 stores the Vita Coco products on the shelf with each one's stock level, shelf price and, at 12,356 stores, its aisle. The Vita Coco Company (NASDAQ: COCO) publishes no store count.

The file has all 55,071 locations across 52 states in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

Unified 168 city spellings, corrected 1 misspelled city names, standardised 4 state codes, added the county to 55,071 listings, re-placed 2 misplaced map points, flagged 203 incomplete addresses and measured 55,071 rows. Rebuilt October 11, 2026 from vitacoco.com.

## Questions

### What is in each row?

One store that Vita Coco's own locator lists as carrying Vita Coco: the retailer (7-Eleven, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart...), address and coordinates, and where the store reports it, each Vita Coco product it stocks with its stock level, units, aisle and shelf price. The locator gives no phone numbers.

### How does the count compare with Vita Coco's own figure?

The Vita Coco Company does not publish a store count: its 10-K says only that it sells through club stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, drug stores, e-commerce and other outlets. This list is the count, read every week.

### How complete is it?

The locator only answers "stores near here", so the whole U.S. is searched until every ZIP area sits inside a complete answer, and a search that hits the locator's result cap is asked again over a smaller area. After the run, 582 fresh searches at random points found no store missing from the file. It is every store Vita Coco's own locator lists; a store the locator leaves out is not in it.

### Why are there so many columns?

Because the file keeps every field the company's locator and location pages publish for each location, not a shortlist. A column the source fills for only some locations is still kept, and its fill is shown beside it on this page.

### How is this data cleaned?

Every rebuild runs the same steps and counts what each one changed. For the current file, rebuilt October 11, 2026 from vitacoco.com: Merged 0 duplicate listings that had the same business name, street address and ZIP code, keeping every filled-in detail from both (October 11, 2026). Unified 168 city names written more than one way within the same ZIP code (for example with and without a space or an abbreviation) to the US Census Bureau spelling (October 11, 2026). Corrected 1 misspelled city names to the US Census Bureau place name for their ZIP code (October 11, 2026). Set the state on 4 listings to its two-letter US Postal Service code, matched to the US Census Bureau state register (or, for Canadian rows, the ISO province code) (October 11, 2026). Added map coordinates to 0 listings that had none, from the US Census Bureau address geocoder or, where the street address could not be matched, the centre of the ZIP code (October 11, 2026). Set the county and its federal county code on 55,071 listings, matched to the US Census Bureau county list from the county the source records, the listing's map point, or its ZIP code area (October 11, 2026). Checked every map point against the state in its address and re-placed 2 points that fell outside that state (October 11, 2026). Flagged 203 addresses that are incomplete, a PO box, or missing a house number, in an address quality column (October 11, 2026). Checked that the row count, state count and field completeness published for this file were measured from the file itself (October 11, 2026).
