20,573 stores that carry poppi prebiotic soda, read every week from poppi's own where-to-buy locator: the stores of the 59 retailers it lists (Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Whole Foods Market, Sprouts...), in all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico. Walgreens has 7,952 of them, Walmart 4,608, Target 1,923, Whole Foods Market 528 and Sprouts Farmers Market 433; California has 2,344, Texas 1,825 and Florida 1,398. Each row gives the retailer, store name, address, coordinates and phone, and the poppi products the locator lists at that store with their UPCs (a median of 17 of the 72 products). poppi has been owned by PepsiCo (NASDAQ: PEP) since May 2025; PepsiCo publishes no poppi store count.

The file has all 20,573 locations across 52 states in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

## What we did to this data

Unified 182 city spellings, corrected 2,680 misspelled city names, standardised 4,927 state codes, shortened 6 ZIP codes, added the county to 20,572 listings, re-placed 1 misplaced map points, flagged 126 incomplete addresses and measured 20,573 rows. Rebuilt October 11, 2026 from drinkpoppi.com.

## Questions

### What is in each row?

One store that poppi's own locator lists as carrying poppi: the retailer (Walgreens, Walmart, Target...), the store's name, address, coordinates and phone, and the poppi products the locator lists there with their UPCs.

### How does the count compare with the company's own figure?

PepsiCo, which bought poppi in May 2025, does not publish a store count for the brand. This list is the count, read every week.

### How complete is it?

The locator only answers "stores near here", so the whole U.S. is searched until every ZIP area sits inside a complete answer, and a search that hits the locator's result cap is asked again over a smaller area. After the run, 278 fresh searches at random points found no store missing from the file. It is every store poppi's own locator lists; a store the locator leaves out is not in it.

### Why are there so many columns?

Because the file keeps every field the company's locator and location pages publish for each location, not a shortlist. A column the source fills for only some locations is still kept, and its fill is shown beside it on this page.

### How current is it?

File built on October 11, 2026. It is not on an automatic refresh schedule, so check the build date above before you buy.

### How is this data cleaned?

Every rebuild runs the same steps and counts what each one changed. For the current file, rebuilt October 11, 2026 from drinkpoppi.com: Merged 0 duplicate listings that had the same business name, street address and ZIP code, keeping every filled-in detail from both (October 11, 2026). Unified 182 city names written more than one way within the same ZIP code (for example with and without a space or an abbreviation) to the US Census Bureau spelling (October 11, 2026). Corrected 2,680 misspelled city names to the US Census Bureau place name for their ZIP code (October 11, 2026). Set the state on 4,927 listings to its two-letter US Postal Service code, matched to the US Census Bureau state register (or, for Canadian rows, the ISO province code) (October 11, 2026). Shortened 6 ZIP codes to the five-digit code every address filter expects, keeping the delivery-route segment in a column of its own (October 11, 2026). Added map coordinates to 0 listings that had none, from the US Census Bureau address geocoder or, where the street address could not be matched, the centre of the ZIP code (October 11, 2026). Set the county and its federal county code on 20,572 listings, matched to the US Census Bureau county list from the county the source records, the listing's map point, or its ZIP code area (October 11, 2026). Checked every map point against the state in its address and re-placed 1 points that fell outside that state (October 11, 2026). Flagged 126 addresses that are incomplete, a PO box, or missing a house number, in an address quality column (October 11, 2026). Checked that the row count, state count and field completeness published for this file were measured from the file itself (October 11, 2026).
