12,979 stores that carry Olipop prebiotic soda, read every week from Olipop's own store locator: the stores of the 56 retailers it lists (Walmart, CVS, Target, Whole Foods Market, Sprouts...), in all 50 states and DC. Walmart has 4,549 of them, CVS 2,278, Target 1,923, Whole Foods Market 528 and Sprouts Farmers Market 433; California has 1,560, Texas 989 and New York 881. Each row gives the retailer, store name, address, coordinates and phone, and the Olipop products the locator lists at that store with their UPCs (a median of 24 of the 109 products). Olipop is a private company and publishes no store count.

The file has all 12,979 locations across 51 states in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

## What we did to this data

Unified 49 city spellings, corrected 2,631 misspelled city names, standardised 7,273 state codes, shortened 6 ZIP codes, added the county to 12,967 listings, re-placed 13 misplaced map points, flagged 2,546 incomplete addresses and measured 12,979 rows. Rebuilt October 11, 2026 from drinkolipop.com.

## Questions

### What is in each row?

One store that Olipop's own locator lists as carrying Olipop: the retailer (Walmart, CVS, Target...), the store's name, address, coordinates and phone, and the Olipop products the locator lists there with their UPCs. For some retailers the locator gives the street address as the store's name.

### How does the count compare with Olipop's own figure?

Olipop is private and publishes no store count. This list is the count, read every week.

### How complete is it?

The locator only answers "stores near here", so the whole U.S. is searched until every ZIP area sits inside a complete answer, and a search that hits the locator's result cap is asked again over a smaller area. After the run, 208 fresh searches at random points found no store missing from the file. It is every store Olipop's own locator lists; a store the locator leaves out is not in it.

### Why are there so many columns?

Because the file keeps every field the company's locator and location pages publish for each location, not a shortlist. A column the source fills for only some locations is still kept, and its fill is shown beside it on this page.

### How current is it?

File built on October 11, 2026. It is not on an automatic refresh schedule, so check the build date above before you buy.

### How is this data cleaned?

Every rebuild runs the same steps and counts what each one changed. For the current file, rebuilt October 11, 2026 from drinkolipop.com: Merged 0 duplicate listings that had the same business name, street address and ZIP code, keeping every filled-in detail from both (October 11, 2026). Unified 49 city names written more than one way within the same ZIP code (for example with and without a space or an abbreviation) to the US Census Bureau spelling (October 11, 2026). Corrected 2,631 misspelled city names to the US Census Bureau place name for their ZIP code (October 11, 2026). Set the state on 7,273 listings to its two-letter US Postal Service code, matched to the US Census Bureau state register (or, for Canadian rows, the ISO province code) (October 11, 2026). Shortened 6 ZIP codes to the five-digit code every address filter expects, keeping the delivery-route segment in a column of its own (October 11, 2026). Added map coordinates to 0 listings that had none, from the US Census Bureau address geocoder or, where the street address could not be matched, the centre of the ZIP code (October 11, 2026). Set the county and its federal county code on 12,967 listings, matched to the US Census Bureau county list from the county the source records, the listing's map point, or its ZIP code area (October 11, 2026). Checked every map point against the state in its address and re-placed 13 points that fell outside that state (October 11, 2026). Flagged 2,546 addresses that are incomplete, a PO box, or missing a house number, in an address quality column (October 11, 2026). Checked that the row count, state count and field completeness published for this file were measured from the file itself (October 11, 2026).
