14,343 rows covering the US pool industry in one CSV, plus 104 Canadian locations: the wholesale distributors (POOLCORP's 430 sales centers, trading as SCP, Superior, Horizon, NPT and Jet Line, and Heritage Pool Supply's 168 branches, owned by SRS Distribution and The Home Depot), the retail chains (Leslie's 813 stores and POOLCORP's Pinch A Penny franchise, 311), the builder and service franchises (Premier Pools & Spas 65, Poolwerx 32, Anthony & Sylvan 16, ASP 14), Pentair's 3,001 equipment dealers with their Pentair tier, and 9,493 independent pool service companies, builders and pool and spa stores that belong to none of them. The brand column comes first, so the file splits back into its ten parts in one filter, and parentCompany names the owner on every chain, franchise and dealer row: Pool Corporation on both POOLCORP and Pinch A Penny rows (741), SRS Distribution (The Home Depot) on Heritage, Authority Brands on ASP. Independent rows carry a segment column (service / repair 7,023, pool & spa store 1,635, builder / construction 835). Each chain's rows keep that list's own fields, such as Leslie's hours, Pinch A Penny's service flags, POOLCORP's network and Heritage's region. A location in two networks keeps one row for each, and brandsAtLocation names every brand at the same street address and phone: 110 independent pool companies are also Pentair dealers, and 71 Pinch A Penny stores are Pentair dealers too.

14,343 rows, one per brand per location: Independent 9,493, Pentair 3,001, Leslie's 813, POOLCORP 430, Pinch A Penny 311, Heritage Pool Supply 168, Premier Pools & Spas 65, Poolwerx 32, Anthony & Sylvan 16 and ASP 14. 104 rows are in Canada (87 Pentair dealers and 17 SCP Canada branches); every other row is in the US.

### Who owns what?

The parentCompany column names the owner on every chain, franchise and dealer row. Pool Corporation (POOLCORP) owns both its 430 wholesale sales centers and the 311-store Pinch A Penny franchise chain. Heritage Pool Supply belongs to SRS Distribution, which The Home Depot owns. Leslie's, Inc. owns all 813 Leslie's stores. ASP belongs to Authority Brands, Premier Pools & Spas to Premier Franchise Management, and Poolwerx to Poolwerx Holdings. Pentair plc is named on its dealer rows as the manufacturer, not as the dealer's owner.

Filter on brand: Independent rows (9,493) belong to none of the chains, distributors or franchises. Every other brand value is a chain, franchise or Pentair's dealer network. Within the independents, the segment column splits pool service and repair companies (7,023), pool and spa stores (1,635) and builders (835), and locationsWithSameName marks the single-location businesses.

### Which locations are in two networks?

181 locations carry two brands, named in brandsAtLocation: 110 independent pool companies that are also Pentair dealers, and 71 Pinch A Penny stores that are also Pentair dealers. Each keeps one row per brand, so the 14,343 rows cover 14,343 distinct locations.

### Are Hayward and Latham dealers included?

No. Neither Hayward nor Latham publishes a dealer list with street addresses, so the file has no Hayward or Latham brand.
