8,431 H&R Block tax offices in all 50 states and DC, read every week from the office records behind hrblock.com and each office's page. California has 731, Texas 623, Florida 487 and New York 440. 6,702 are company-owned and 1,729 franchised; 329 are Block Advisors small-business offices and 11 sit inside a Walmart. Each row has H&R Block's office number, whether the office is open all year (2,936) or seasonal and the date a seasonal office opens, weekly hours and the office and appointment hours date by date, the services and languages it lists, its customer rating (8,431 offices) and every phone line by type. H&R Block (NYSE: HRB) reported 8,431 offices at 31 March 2026, the peak of the tax season.

## Questions

### Are seasonal offices included?

Yes. Every office H&R Block lists is kept: 2,936 open all year and the rest seasonal, with the date each seasonal office opens in seasonalOpenDate and status.

### Does it name the tax preparers?

No. These are offices. Preparers' names are not read, and neither are reviewers' names: only the rating and the review count.

### How does the count compare with H&R Block's own figure?

H&R Block's 10-K for fiscal 2026 counts 8,431 offices at 31 March 2026, the peak of the tax season: 6,802 company-owned and 1,814 franchised. This list has 6,702 company-owned and 1,729 franchised offices.

### Why are there so many columns?

Because the file keeps every field the company's locator and location pages publish for each location, not a shortlist. A column the source fills for only some locations is still kept, and its fill is shown beside it on this page.
