4,023 fixed-base operators at US airports, with the airport identifier and name, the business name, phone, toll-free number, email, website, fuel brand, posted fuel prices where published, and the airport coordinates. FBOs are the commercial businesses at general aviation airports that sell fuel and provide hangarage, ground handling and passenger services, and there is no federal register of them: the FAA lists airports, not the businesses operating on them. That gap is why this list is hard to assemble and why it is worth having. Fuel suppliers and branded networks, ground support equipment manufacturers, hangar developers, aviation software vendors, charter and fractional operators and aircraft management companies all sell directly into FBOs, and the fuel brand column identifies which supply network each one already belongs to. Contact quality is unusually high for a business dataset, with phone on nearly every record and email on most. Note what is deliberately absent: an FBO is a tenant on an airfield rather than a street address, and the source publishes none, so each operator is located by airport identifier, airport name, city, state and the airport's coordinates — which is how the aviation industry addresses them.

## The figures

- Records: 4,023 locations
- States: 52
- Coverage: U.S.
- Fields: 26
- Price: $29 one-time, CSV download, commercial license (https://locationlists.com/license)
- File built on September 14, 2026. Not on an automatic refresh schedule.
- File last modified: 2026-09-14

The file has all 4,023 locations across 52 states in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

## What we did to this data

Unified 61 city spellings, added the county to 4,019 listings, re-placed 12 misplaced map points, flagged 4,023 incomplete addresses and measured 4,023 rows. Rebuilt September 14, 2026 from airnav.com.

## How complete the key fields are

email 61%, phone 99%, website 56%, city 100%, state 100%, latitude 100%, longitude 100%. 22 of 26 columns are filled on at least half the rows.

## Questions

### Why is there no official list of FBOs?

Because the FAA regulates airports and aircraft, not the businesses operating at them. An FBO is a commercial tenant, so nothing federal enumerates them. The list has to be assembled airport by airport, which is the work you are buying.

### What is the fuel brand column?

The branded fuel network the FBO buys through, such as Avfuel, Phillips 66, Shell or Titan. It tells a competing supplier who the incumbent is and tells anyone else which network relationships already exist, which is one of the most commercially useful fields in the file.

### Is there a street address for each FBO?

No, and we would rather say so than imply one. An FBO occupies a hangar or terminal on an airfield, so there is no street address to publish and the source does not carry one. Each record is located by its airport identifier, airport name, city, state and the airport coordinates.

### Does it cover every airport?

It covers the public-use airports where FBOs actually operate, which is a much smaller set than the roughly 19,000 US aviation facilities — most of those are private strips and heliports with no commercial services at all. We also publish the full FAA airport file separately.

### How is this data cleaned?

Every rebuild runs the same steps and counts what each one changed. For the current file, rebuilt September 14, 2026 from airnav.com: Merged 0 duplicate listings that had the same business name, street address and ZIP code, keeping every filled-in detail from both (September 14, 2026). Unified 61 city names written more than one way within the same ZIP code (for example with and without a space or an abbreviation) to the US Census Bureau spelling (September 14, 2026). Corrected 0 misspelled city names to the US Census Bureau place name for their ZIP code (September 14, 2026). Added map coordinates to 0 listings that had none, from the US Census Bureau address geocoder or, where the street address could not be matched, the centre of the ZIP code (September 14, 2026). Set the county and its federal county code on 4,019 listings, matched to the US Census Bureau county list from the county the source records, the listing's map point, or its ZIP code area (September 14, 2026). Checked every map point against the state in its address and re-placed 12 points that fell outside that state (September 14, 2026). Flagged 4,023 addresses that are incomplete, a PO box, or missing a house number, in an address quality column (September 14, 2026). Checked that the row count, state count and field completeness published for this file were measured from the file itself (September 14, 2026).

### Isn't this free on airnav.com?

The underlying records are public on airnav.com. What you pay for is the work between that public release and this file: unified 61 city spellings, added the county to 4,019 listings, re-placed 12 misplaced map points, flagged 4,023 incomplete addresses and measured 4,023 rows. The current file was rebuilt September 14, 2026 from airnav.com. Doing it yourself means downloading the full release, repeating each of those steps, and repeating them again every time the source updates.

### How complete is each field?

Measured on every row of the current file, the share of rows that carry each key field: email 61%, phone 99%, website 56%, city 100%, state 100%, latitude 100%, longitude 100%. 22 of 26 columns are filled on at least half the rows.
