89,079 US electric vehicle charging stations across every network, from the federal Alternative Fuel Data Center's station register, with 100% coverage on both coordinates and street address. Each record carries the network operator, connector types, the count of DC fast and Level 2 ports, pricing where published, access type and the date the station opened. Port counts total 77,899 DC fast and 210,689 Level 2, and the file separates 83,497 publicly accessible stations from 5,582 private ones, so a fleet planner and a consumer-facing app can each take the slice they need. Charging infrastructure is the fastest-moving location category in the country: stations open weekly, networks merge and rebrand, and the transition to a common connector standard is reshuffling which vehicles can use which chargers. Site selection and real estate teams, utilities, fleet operators, EV manufacturers, hospitality and retail chains adding chargers, and the charging networks themselves all need a current national map rather than a snapshot.

## The figures

- Records: 90,730 locations
- States: 52
- Coverage: U.S.
- Fields: 51
- Price: $119 one-time, CSV download, commercial license (https://locationlists.com/license)
- File built on October 18, 2026. Rebuilt weekly on an automatic schedule.
- File last modified: 2026-10-18

The file has all 90,730 locations across 52 states in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

## What we did to this data

Unified 519 city spellings, corrected 120 misspelled city names, fixed 8 doubled addresses, restored 122 ZIP codes, added the county to 90,727 listings, re-placed 9 misplaced map points, flagged 2,440 incomplete addresses and measured 90,730 rows. Rebuilt October 18, 2026 from afdc.energy.gov.

## How complete the key fields are

phone 94%, website 91%, street address 100%, city 100%, state 100%, ZIP code 100%, latitude 100%, longitude 100%. 38 of 60 columns are filled on at least half the rows.

## Questions

### Where does this come from?

The Alternative Fuel Data Center station locator, maintained by the US Department of Energy. It is the authoritative national register, it is free, and critically it tags every station with its network operator, which is what makes per-network cuts possible.

### Does the count line up with published figures?

Yes. Filtering to public and available stations gives 81,461, which sits right where the commonly cited 70,000 to 80,000 range would be expected to have grown to. The larger headline of 89,079 also includes private stations and ones listed as planned or temporarily down, each identified by the access and status columns.

### Can I get one network on its own?

Yes, we publish the major networks as separate datasets — ChargePoint, Tesla, Blink, EVgo, Electrify America, Flo and others — because most buyers care about one operator's footprint or about the non-networked stations.

### How is this data cleaned?

Every rebuild runs the same steps and counts what each one changed. For the current file, rebuilt October 18, 2026 from afdc.energy.gov: Merged 0 duplicate listings that had the same business name, street address and ZIP code, keeping every filled-in detail from both (October 18, 2026). Unified 519 city names written more than one way within the same ZIP code (for example with and without a space or an abbreviation) to the US Census Bureau spelling (October 18, 2026). Corrected 120 misspelled city names to the US Census Bureau place name for their ZIP code (October 18, 2026). Removed the second copy of 8 street addresses that were typed twice in the same field (October 18, 2026). Restored the leading zero on 122 ZIP codes that had lost it (October 18, 2026). Added map coordinates to 0 listings that had none, from the US Census Bureau address geocoder or, where the street address could not be matched, the centre of the ZIP code (October 18, 2026). Set the county and its federal county code on 90,727 listings, matched to the US Census Bureau county list from the county the source records, the listing's map point, or its ZIP code area (October 18, 2026). Checked every map point against the state in its address and re-placed 9 points that fell outside that state (October 18, 2026). Flagged 2,440 addresses that are incomplete, a PO box, or missing a house number, in an address quality column (October 18, 2026). Checked that the row count, state count and field completeness published for this file were measured from the file itself (October 18, 2026).

### Isn't this free on afdc.energy.gov?

The underlying records are public on afdc.energy.gov. What you pay for is the work between that public release and this file: unified 519 city spellings, corrected 120 misspelled city names, fixed 8 doubled addresses, restored 122 ZIP codes, added the county to 90,727 listings, re-placed 9 misplaced map points, flagged 2,440 incomplete addresses and measured 90,730 rows, and a fresh rebuild every week. The current file was rebuilt October 18, 2026 from afdc.energy.gov. Doing it yourself means downloading the full release, repeating each of those steps, and repeating them again every time the source updates.

### How complete is each field?

Measured on every row of the current file, the share of rows that carry each key field: phone 94%, website 91%, street address 100%, city 100%, state 100%, ZIP code 100%, latitude 100%, longitude 100%. 38 of 60 columns are filled on at least half the rows, and 2 are empty in every row.
