13,600 OEM-certified collision repair centers, merged from eight manufacturer certification programs and the I-CAR Gold Class register, with every certification a shop holds accumulated onto one row. That accumulation is the product: 5,566 of these shops are certified by more than one manufacturer, and 11,556 hold I-CAR Gold Class, which is the industry's training standard. Certification is not marketing — it requires specific welding and measuring equipment, aluminium capability, ongoing technician training and facility investment, so it separates the shops that can repair a modern vehicle from the thousands that cannot. Per-make coverage includes Ford 3,178, Lincoln 3,018, Stellantis 2,929, Hyundai 2,248, Kia 2,091, GM 1,569, Honda and Acura 1,494 each, Subaru 834, Genesis 528, Volvo 393, BMW 388 and Mazda 309. Paint and refinish manufacturers, equipment and tooling suppliers, parts distributors, insurers building direct-repair networks, and the consolidators acquiring shops all qualify on exactly these credentials.

## The figures

- Records: 13,600 locations (13,598 US)
- States: 52
- Coverage: U.S.
- Fields: 22
- Price: $49 one-time, CSV download, commercial license (https://locationlists.com/license)
- File built on September 14, 2026. Not on an automatic refresh schedule.
- File last modified: 2026-09-14

The file has all 13,600 locations across 52 states in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

## Questions

### Why merge the manufacturer programs instead of selling them separately?

Because the overlap is the signal. A shop holding four OEM certifications plus Gold Class is running a fundamentally different business from one holding none, and separate files hide that. The certifications, a certification count and per-make columns are all present so you can filter to a single program whenever you need to.

### What does I-CAR Gold Class actually mean?

It is the collision industry's training credential, requiring a shop to maintain trained technicians in each core role and to keep that training current. 11,556 of these shops hold it. Many buyers treat it as the minimum qualification before a shop is worth calling.

### Which manufacturers are missing?

Nissan, Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Rivian, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, Jaguar Land Rover and Lexus. Some put their locator behind a login, others behind bot protection we did not defeat. We name them rather than implying the file covers every brand.

### How is this data cleaned?

Every rebuild runs the same steps and counts what each one changed. For the current file, rebuilt September 14, 2026 from goldclass.i-car.com: Merged 0 duplicate listings that had the same business name, street address and ZIP code, keeping every filled-in detail from both (September 14, 2026). Unified 193 city names written more than one way within the same ZIP code (for example with and without a space or an abbreviation) to the US Census Bureau spelling (September 14, 2026). Corrected 40 misspelled city names to the US Census Bureau place name for their ZIP code (September 14, 2026). Restored the leading zero on 3 ZIP codes that had lost it (September 14, 2026). Added map coordinates to 545 listings that had none, from the US Census Bureau address geocoder or, where the street address could not be matched, the centre of the ZIP code (September 14, 2026). Set the county and its federal county code on 13,600 listings, matched to the US Census Bureau county list from the county the source records, the listing's map point, or its ZIP code area (September 14, 2026). Checked every map point against the state in its address and re-placed 2 points that fell outside that state (September 14, 2026). Flagged 15 addresses that are incomplete, a PO box, or missing a house number, in an address quality column (September 14, 2026). Checked that the row count, state count and field completeness published for this file were measured from the file itself (September 14, 2026).

### Isn't this free on goldclass.i-car.com?

The underlying records are public on goldclass.i-car.com. What you pay for is the work between that public release and this file: unified 193 city spellings, corrected 40 misspelled city names, restored 3 ZIP codes, added coordinates to 545 listings, added the county to 13,600 listings, re-placed 2 misplaced map points, flagged 15 incomplete addresses and measured 13,600 rows. The current file was rebuilt September 14, 2026 from goldclass.i-car.com. Doing it yourself means downloading the full release, repeating each of those steps, and repeating them again every time the source updates.

### How complete is each field?

Measured on every row of the current file, the share of rows that carry each key field: phone 100%, website 40%, street address 100%, city 100%, state 100%, ZIP code 100%, latitude 100%, longitude 100%. 21 of 23 columns are filled on at least half the rows.
