Every store in Carry-On Trailer's own find-a-dealer locator, in the US and Canada. Carry-On sells its utility, aluminum, enclosed cargo and car hauler trailers mainly through farm, hardware and home-improvement chains: chain stores make up 4,568 of the 4,929 rows, and 361 are independent dealers. The chainName column names the chain on every chain-store row — Tractor Supply 2,003, Lowe's 1,463, Orscheln Farm & Home 150, Rural King 135, Northern Tool & Equipment 122, Leonard Aluminum Utility Buildings 73, Atwood Distributing 68, Runnings 61, Big Tex Trailers 51, Fleet Farm 45, Bomgaars 37 and more — and locationType says chain store or independent. Each row has the street address, the locator's own map coordinates, phone (93%) and the trailer lines stocked (categories), with county and county FIPS added for US rows. Website and email are rare because chain stores are listed without them, and the hours column carries the locator's default weekday hours on every row, not each store's own. 70 locations are in Canada, marked country=CA.

The file has all 4,929 locations across 50 states in one download. Building the same list by searching one area at a time tends to miss places, and a missed place looks like a gap in coverage that is not really there.

- `locationType`: chain store (a name shared by 5 or more addresses: Tractor Supply, Lowe's, Rural King…) or independent

- `chainLocations`: How many addresses in this file share the row's chain name (1 = a single location)
- `dealerId`: The locator's own record id
- `address`: Street address
- `city`: City
- `state`: Two-letter state or Canadian province code
- `zip`: ZIP or Canadian postal code
- `country`: US or CA
- `phone`: Store phone number
- `website`: Website, where published (mostly independents)
- `latitude`: Latitude (the locator's own map point)
- `longitude`: Longitude (the locator's own map point)
- `hours`: The locator's default weekday hours, the same on every row; not the store's own hours
- `categories`: Trailer lines the store stocks (Utility, SmartFold, Aluminum, Enclosed Cargo, Equipment & Car Hauler)
- `locatorPage`: The store's page on carry-ontrailer.com
- `lastModified`: When Carry-On last edited this record in its locator
- `inRestIndex`: yes when the record is in the locator's published index of every store
- `terms`: The locator's own taxonomy terms on the record
- `geo_precision`: How the coordinates were arrived at: the locator's own map point, or a geocode of the address, ZIP centre or city centre
- `county`: County name (US rows)
- `county_fips`: Five-digit county FIPS code (US rows)

### Is this a dealer list?

Mostly not. Carry-On sells through farm, hardware and home-improvement chains, and its locator lists every store that stocks the trailers. Chain stores make up 4,568 of the 4,929 rows — Tractor Supply 2,003 and Lowe's 1,463 lead — and 361 rows are independent dealers. Filter locationType to independent for the dealer network alone.

### How are chain stores told apart from dealers?

From the file itself: the store name is reduced to its chain name (store numbers, city and branch suffixes removed), and a name shared by 5 or more addresses is a chain store. chainLocations gives the count so you can set your own cut-off.

### Does it cover Canada?

Yes. 70 locations are in Canada (24 RONA and 15 Lowe's stores, 31 independents), with country=CA and the province in the state column.

### Why are website and email nearly empty?

Carry-On's locator lists chain stores without a website or email, and only a few independents carry one. Phone is on 93% of rows. The file keeps what the source publishes and invents nothing.
