15,429 stores, read every week from 7-Eleven's own store records: 12,598 are open and 2,831 are listed by 7-Eleven as not open for business (closed, or not yet open). Every row carries its status, so the count is open stores plus listed-not-open ones; filter on status = Open for the 12,598 open stores. 14,795 rows are in the U.S. and 634 in Canada. Banners: 7-Eleven 10,565, Speedway 3,058 and Stripes 308; 1,493 not-open records name no banner. California has 2,259, Texas 1,954, Florida 1,382 and New York 973. Each row has 7-Eleven's store number, the former Speedway or Stripes number where there is one (4,890), whether the store is franchised, the fuel brand, hours, the posted and cash price of every fuel grade read weekly with 7-Eleven's own update time (8,676 rows, 8,065 of them open stores), restaurants inside the store, and every feature and service flag 7-Eleven lists. Seven & i Holdings reported 12,491 7-Eleven, Inc. retail stores at 30 June 2026.

Every rebuild runs the same steps and counts what each one changed. For the current file, rebuilt October 10, 2026 from apis.7-eleven.com: Merged 0 duplicate listings that had the same business name, street address and ZIP code, keeping every filled-in detail from both (October 10, 2026). Unified 160 city names written more than one way within the same ZIP code (for example with and without a space or an abbreviation) to the US Census Bureau spelling (October 10, 2026). Corrected 2 misspelled city names to the US Census Bureau place name for their ZIP code (October 10, 2026). Removed the second copy of 1 street addresses that were typed twice in the same field (October 10, 2026). Added map coordinates to 2,711 listings that had none, from the US Census Bureau address geocoder or, where the street address could not be matched, the centre of the ZIP code (October 10, 2026). Set the county and its federal county code on 14,793 listings, matched to the US Census Bureau county list from the county the source records, the listing's map point, or its ZIP code area (October 10, 2026). Checked every map point against the state in its address and re-placed 0 points that fell outside that state (October 10, 2026). Flagged 368 addresses that are incomplete, a PO box, or missing a house number, in an address quality column (October 10, 2026). Checked that the row count, state count and field completeness published for this file were measured from the file itself (October 10, 2026).
